Still not had a chance to catch all episodes of #honesty? 

Due to popular demand, all six episodes of #honesty can now be seen in full on the Dead Parrot YouTube comedy channel.

Subscribers from all over the world have been enjoying the journey of life guru’s Jack and Jemima as they aim to get their thriving self-help business – and relationship – back on track.

#honesty was the ‘Best Online Series’ award winner at the third annual City of Angels Women’s Film Festival in California and is also under consideration for the renowned South by South West festival in Austin, Texas in 2023.

#honesty wins ‘Best Online Series’ at COAFF 2022

#honesty came away with the ‘Best Online Series’ award at the 3rd annual City of Angels Women’s Film Festival (COAFF), on September 4th last, in Sherwood, North Hollywood, California.

The COAFF is focused on honouring films that have been either directed, produced, written or include a cast driven by women or a combination of those elements. The festival also aims to connect and empower women in the film industry and showcase new talent and film from Los Angeles & around the world.

#honesty assistant producer, Amy Hunter, was quick to acknowledge the team effort involved “We’re delighted for everyone involved that we got this recognition. Especially from a festival that wants to see our female colleagues playing more than a token role in front and behind the camera.”

#honesty will feature as part of a number of other international festivals over the next number of months.

It is focused on honouring films that have been either directed, produced, written or include a cast driven by women or a combination of those elements.

This year #honesty is one of their Official Selections and will be screened at 15:15 PDT on Sunday 4th September

It’s an important day, we’ve been planning and working on this for a couple of years and obviously with Covid-19 we weren’t sure what the situation was going to be, but ultimately we got here today. It’s kind of first day at school. It’s good to be shooting as opposed to talking about shooting!”

#honesty Joins Leading Comedy Channel

This week was a considerable milestone in the #honesty journey as the series was added to leading YouTube comedy channel Dead Parrot.

The channel, run by Little Dot Studios, already features some leading British comedy talent such as Jimmy Carr, Peter Serafinowicz, Dylan Moran, Stephen Fry as well as cult favourite Peep Show. 

Speaking about the announcement, Niall Bishop, who co-wrote the show alongside Ruggero Dalla Santa, said “we’re thrilled #honesty will be in such esteemed comedy company on Dead Parrot. And very excited that a whole new audience will get a chance to discover this story and spend time with such an eclectic cast of characters.”

An episode of #honesty will be dropping every Tuesday on Dead Parrot from July 26th.
